  • A cool-down, and a recap of how your dog did.

Who it can help

A supervised treadmill session is a convenient way to add consistent, structured movement to your dog's week, especially on hot, rainy or busy days when walks get skipped. It complements regular walks, play and mental enrichment rather than replacing them.

Owners tell us it helps with high-energy dogs, heavy-coated breeds that can't be out in the summer heat, and busy households that want exercise to happen without another drive.

Safety first

Treadmill exercise isn't right for every dog. Flat-faced breeds, very young puppies, seniors with mobility issues and dogs with certain medical conditions should be evaluated by a veterinarian first. Tell us about your dog when you book and we'll help you decide.

Sessions are for exercise and activity, not medical treatment.

How it works.

From booking to cool-down, here is exactly what happens.

  1. Book

Request a time online or call or text. Tell us your dog's age, breed and any health considerations.

  2. Prepare

Have a little driveway or yard space and water on hand. If your dog has a medical condition, check with your vet first.

  3. The van arrives

The mobile dog gym pulls up at your home in your confirmed arrival window.

  4. Introduction

Your dog meets the treadmill at their own pace. Nervous dogs get time and space.

  5. Supervised workout

A pace matched to your dog's fitness, with a handler beside them the whole time.

  6. Cool-down and recap

The session ends with a cool-down, and you get a recap of what your dog accomplished.

What happens during a dog treadmill session?

We bring the mobile dog gym to your home, introduce your dog to the treadmill at their own pace, and run a supervised workout matched to their fitness level. Sessions end with a cool-down, and you get a recap of what your dog accomplished.

Is treadmill exercise suitable for every dog?

Not every dog. Sessions are supervised and paced to your dog, but treadmill exercise isn't appropriate for every age, breed, or health condition. Flat-faced breeds, very young puppies, seniors with mobility issues, and dogs with certain medical conditions should be evaluated by a veterinarian first. Tell us about your dog when you book and we'll help you decide.

How long should a dog exercise on a treadmill?

It depends on your dog's age, breed, fitness, and health. Many dogs do well with a 30-minute session, while fitter dogs enjoy 60 minutes. We pace every session individually and watch your dog's comfort the whole time, and we always recommend checking with your veterinarian about your dog's exercise plan.

Can a treadmill help keep my dog active?

Yes. A supervised treadmill session is a convenient way to add consistent, structured movement to your dog's week, especially on hot, rainy, or busy days when walks get skipped. It complements regular walks, play, and mental enrichment rather than replacing them.

What should I do before my dog's first session?

Nothing special: just have a little driveway or yard space available and water on hand for your dog. When you book, tell us about your dog's age, breed, and any health considerations so we can pace the session right. If your dog has a medical condition, check with your veterinarian first.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Yes. Call or text us at (754) 332-7353 as soon as your plans change and we'll reschedule your session for a time that works for you.
